So, we were playing outside today, and the kids wanted to play with chalk. So first we made our usual hop-scotch board, and were playing and then I figured, why not make a project with chalk! I went in with the girls, and we got some colored paper, salt, glue, 2 plates and 2 small boxes from the basement.
We sat down outside and gave each girl a plate with some salt and had them pick a piece of chalk, and had them the color the salt with their chalk.

Then, I put a piece of paper into each box and they drew a picture using the glue.

When they were finished, they poured the salt into the boxes, and shook it around, to get cover the glue with the colored salt.
